"Canvas, walls, cupboards doors and ceilings can become the surfaces
on which I mix and blend those chemical mixtures known as colours,
to try to evoke to the viewers of my artworks at least some of the
beauty which move me.
The passion for art I have
cultivated since I was a child has become my job.
I learnt art techniques in my
father’s workshop and, since the 1980s, I have my own art and
restoration studio. I am specialized in oil painting on canvas, wall
decoration and frescoes."

Francesco has focused on all the possibilities offered by the trompe
l’oeil technique, creating architectural illusions (quadratura)
which frame landscape murals, or tricking the viewer with visual
games full of surprises.
He paints original artworks or custom made paintings, including
reproductions of ancient subjects, using different traditional
techniques: oil on canvas, tempera on canvas, wood and walls, and
fresco (visit the galleries, they contain artworks made until 2008:
Murals;

Frescoes;
Ceilings)
He can paint directly on walls and ceilings, or he can create
murals on canvas or panels which are painted in the studio and then
installed on the wall. Painting murals on canvas has different
advantages: canvas can be easily removed and reinstalled when needed
and this method is not disruptive to the client’s home environment.
Francesco’s works can be found across Italy, United States and
Japan. For decorative projects, he prepares proposals, including
sketches and estimates of costs, which are then submitted for
approval by the client.
